Why I do What I do

My name is Steve Bruner - Founder of Natural Biology.  I still work everyday and I really enjoy formuating great supplements.   My goal is to always figure out how to push the envelop.   Today is exciting time to be in the supplement industry.  Most companies continue to do business the way they've always done business but I believe there's a much better model for supplements than exist.     Today is an exciting time to be in the supplemetn business -   micro-nutrients are better than they've ever been - and university research is outstanding.   The problem is there is huge gap between most products on the market today and what is actually used in research.  It does cost more to use the better micro-nutrients and that is why most companies do not incorporate research grade micro-nutrients or if they do, they will not give you anything else.  The old supplement world is based on marking up margins like the cosmetic industry does - thousands of percent.  We don't.   We believe we can make a reasonable profit and still provide the best of the best.

One of the reasons I started Natural Biology was back in the 90's  I felt the average supplement user was overwhelmed by the typical vitamin store - which sometimes comes with good advice and more often not.

This motivated our company  to work  very deligently at creating some advanced products that fit into an easy-to-follow supplement protocol so even if you are not an expert  - you can take a program that is - and again, we've made it so you can afford it.   As a result we have very loyal customers.  They are not more informed and report getting sick less often and enjoying a higher quality of life.  Most people tell us they have more energy to live out each day than they did before Natural Biology came into their lives.

Any job has ups and downs - but I personally take what our company manufactures - and I also provide it to my family.  My Mom, Dad, and Wife are some of our biggest fans.    Natural Biology continues to make history with our products - and that makes my life more authentic .  It will be my legacy and I hope it will be remembered as a good one.  I've been told my efforts to explore how to make micro-nutrients more bio-available will revolutionize the industry.  I am not too sure about this but I think it is one of the most serious considerations when taking a supplements.

It all started about ten years ago with this concept of the IDEAL WORLD.   These are the things I wish were part of my everyday life.... and these are the things still driving me today.

MY IDEAL WORLD

  • Eat locally grown vegetables and fruits - always fresh
  • Use local honey as my primary source of sweetening
  • Eliminate processed foods from my diet
  • Drink good water
  • Live in an environmentally that is  chemically free
  • Spend 1-2 hours per day in the sunlight - maybe walking or gardening or reading
  • Exercise no less than 1 hour everyday
  • Live well within the margins of stress and my financial means
  • Be debt free
  • Find 1-2 hours per day for quite time - meditation and reading
  • Spend time on the front porch with family and friends
  • Watch TV only for news, sports, and a favorite show or two - never to channel surf
  • Seek to honor God in all I do and say
  • Have a positive attitude no matter what my circumstances are
  • Forgive others with ease and forgive often
  • Be sensitve to and committed to give to those in need
  • Sit in a hot tub every night and drink a good glass of red wine
  • I want to take a vitamin protocol that works everyday and meets my needs
  • I want to feel good when I wake up

These are the reaons I do what I do.   Supplements make a difference in helping all of us replace some of the missing pieces.  The rest is up to you and me to insure our IDEAL WORLD exist.    I am not there yet, but I am a lot further down the road than I was.   The old Chinese proverb "a journey of a thousand miles starts with the first step"  really applies.  It's not the end game that counts - it's the journey.   It's a good idea to make up your own list and see where you stand.  I've only mastered a few things above - have some work to do in some areas - and I am not doing so well in a couple of areas, but I've learned to forgive my failures and learn from them.  I don't beat myself up anymore but try to take tiny steps on the tough areas of life.  I

Negative thinking  is rooted  in fear.   Fear is not a healthy emotion when we bring it onto ourselves and into the lives of others.   Love yourself , forgive yourself,  love others, and forgive  others - and start your journey today.  I'd love to hear about your list.  Send me your list  Steve's Email Address

It's fun!
